Ameerpet the shopping hub is really a shopping heaven for all as it caters for each & every need and each & every pocket too.
While high-end showrooms try to tempt all..., the simple street side sellers attract with their simplicity.
One such hawker was Reddy who has his biscuit showroom on a 5X4 hand cart (called Bandi in Telugu).
So neatly he had stacked up his stock that it stole my attention even amidst the crowd. Isn't that what we do as branding guys - Steal the target audience's attention.
He had a variety namely, Pedda-salt, chinna-salt, Chandamama, butter, salt-sweet mix etc.
Each variety was for Rs 20/- for 100gms. I tasted Chandamama & Chinna salt. It was yum.
If packaged properly the same thing will be available in our food-marts at may be Rs 40 per 100 gm.
This guy was not from a management institute but knew all the marketing basics. This cool lil' 5X4 showroom is a live example for so many retailers in Hyderabad who want to become big but refuse to take such minor steps.
Will meet you all with one more street-wonder and not just a street-vendor.
