If a logo is hanging on the streets and not just on the billboards, then it needs no proof that the brand has evidently arrived.
I was attracted towards this bright coloured logo of watsapp hanging on a bandi (thela/selling cart). I stopped again to have a look and I was surprised to see that even facebook, twitter and wechat were also present.
These logos were hanging as keychains along with many others. Thanks to all these brands who pulled me towards this hawker. I observed he had many keychains which were reflecting the psyche of our society at large. People are not just influenced by these marketing giants but also are attracted towards Feng shui, games & TV characters. Chinese Yin Yan, Batman, Superman and watsapp are one of the hot selling key chain whereas Doraemon & angry birds are also attractive
Tamanna the hawker, says he is doing this business for past couple of years and new products like popular movies or characters are a instant hit.
Tamanna hails from Samastipur Bihar and finds a great business opportunity on the streets of Hyderabad. On an average he is able to do a minimum sale of Rs 1000/- to 1500/-.
