For a second I thought I was dreaming.

It was 12 in the night and I was on the busy roads of Hi tech city in Hyderabad. It was a late night meeting and we had gone for a site visit.

While we were strolling on the footpath I was bedazzled to see these idols which appeared to be quite old, lying on the streets.

An unfinished work lying abandoned on the Streets of Hyderabad
Stone or Music in stone

For a minute I looked at the digging that was going on the site and my mind started hallucinating. Did we just dug another of the ancient city of India.

My heart jumped into my mouth.

But this was just a moment of Eureka..., that passed of as quickly as it had stuck.

These beautiful idols were the works of some local craftsman who seems to be carving out and selling in the vicinity and since the time the construction works started, had to shift from there. These masterpieces were leftovers which he could not carry.

At that hour of night i could not get any more details as no body was around.

But the craftsmanship was worth an appreciation and a share. India is a land full of artists and craftsmen.

I don's want to be stone anymore

No one wonder India is the country that has maximum number of Gods and temples. Each and every corner of India is full of such beautiful examples of idols and workmanship.

I just recollected the shortest story that's doing rounds in watsapp groups.

MAN AND GOD BOTH MET SOMEWHERE AND BOTH EXCLAIMED - "MY CREATOR"

While you move with your faith, I will move to some other street somewhere.

C ya soon
