Who says youngsters are unruly and insensitive?

Ganesha causes such fervor among all. Be it young or old, boys or girls, believers or atheists..., everyone starts tapping their foot to the teen beat what the drummers play during the Ganesh Nimajjan procession.

The streets of Begumpet were live with this upbeat crowd. The best part was there was no gulal (colour), no alcohol, no eve teasing and best part was the boys were making chain to keep the revelers not cause inconvenience to the traffic.

It was a welcome change from the regular. At the time of Ganesh Visarjan, people of awry of uncontrolled mob mentality, indulgence in drinks & drugs and of course badtameezi with passing by traffic specially girls.

One more thing worth noticing was that the residents of the colony objected to the drummers and this group of youngsters immediately stopped the beats and only once they were out of the residence area, they started the beats.

Ganesha is the God for auspicious beginning and I think this year it is an Auspicious beginning.

Will update with few more changes Ganesha has brought this year.
