Streets of Hyderabad hides the whole of India.
Remember the 'Sanjeevani booti' boys selling the Himalayan mosses or the Nankhatai guy? They were from UP & Bihar.
This time I met Amit from Ayodhya. He has travelled all the way to earn his living. On asking how did he come to Hyderabad, "bhaiyya the yahaan to vo hi humkao yahaan le aaye" (My brother was here and he only got me here)
He is not educated but is skilled as a sales person. He sells belts, wallets & socks on the street
Looking at Amit, who is well dressed himself, many people stop and buy the products. A smart way to market. One must use the products one sell and exhibit the same to consumers. The faith of the customers rises in you and your brand....simple lesson Amit was executing, so effectively in his selling. Wish some big retailers also follow the suit. They will become huge.
Well..., will try to bring to you some other Indians from other parts of India, who are trying to find a foothold in streets of Hyderabad and chasing their dreams.
